Pasternak is one of the most known Russians, that is, beloved by the Russian "intelligentsia". Nothing more. But if people like Ivan Solonevich (at least, his Ðîññèÿ â êîíöëàãåðå) and, for instance, rock poets like ßíêà Äÿãèëåâà, ×åðíûé Ëóêè÷, Åãîð Ëåòîâ were also so known in the West as Pasternak and Brodsky... or, at least, as Øåâ÷óê and Ãðåáåíùèêîâ :-)
